Word power主要是解決了與運動有關的單詞和短語。Part A和Part B展開的一些活動是為了通過學習和辨別不同類型的俱樂部和運動項目來擴大學生對體育方面的知識。Part C的設計是為了加強學生在Part A和Part B所學的詞匯。Part D的設計是為了增加相關的信息,通過提問的方式讓他們把不同的體育項目進行分類來評價學生的詞匯掌握的情況。要求學生不僅擴大相關的詞匯同時還能靈活地運用。
