Food & BehaviorKoala has a slow metabolism( processes occurring within a living cell or organism) ,sleeping for most of the day, about 16-18 hours a day.Koala lives almost entirely on eucalypt leaves. Koalas spend about three of their five active hours eating. Feeding occurs at any time of day, but usually at night.
