3、to talk aboutIntroduction The koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) is an arboreal (living in the tree) herbivorous (eating grass) marsupial (animals with a bag in body) native to Australia, and the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae. The koala is found in coastal regions of eastern a
4、nd southern Australia, from Adelaide to the southern part of Cape York Peninsula. Food & BehaviorKoala has a slow metabolism( processes occurring within a living cell or organism) ,sleeping for most of the day, about 16-18 hours a day.Koala lives almost entirely on eucalypt leaves. Koalas spend about three of their five active hours eating. Feeding occurs at any time of day, but usually at night.
