八年級英語教學案例
Unit9 When was he born?(Section A)
新課改要求英語課教學應以學生為主體,以訓練為主線,以能力的培養(yǎng)為宗旨.學生是學習活動的主人,教師是學習活動的組織者和引導者.教師要努力創(chuàng)設多種多樣的方式和機會讓學生通過自主合作,探究等學習方式進行學習,注重教與學的互動性和生生互動.
[教材分析]
本節(jié)課的教學內容是Go for it八年級When was he born?SectionA.主要語言功能項目是談論自己崇拜的名人以及名人的職業(yè)生涯.以人物簡歷為線索,進一步學習一般過
2、去時態(tài),尤其是一般過去時態(tài)的特殊疑問句.通過SectionA的學習,學生可以了解成功人士的生活經(jīng)歷,并且學習有關職業(yè)的英文表達方式.
[學情分析]
同學們在七年級已學過一般過去時,學生對這一時態(tài)頗為熟悉,這為學習本單元的新知識奠定了認知基礎.他們熱愛并崇拜喬丹,鄧亞萍,貝克漢姆等名人.對他們的人生歷程充滿好奇.因此在教學中,教師可充分利用學生這一心理特點,引導學生深入探究,自主地解決問題.
[教學目標]
1. 語言技能目標
(1) 能對別人的出生年月進行問答,如:When was he born?
He was

(2) 能對別人的經(jīng)歷進行詢問,如:When did he start hiccupping?
How long did he hiccup?
2. 語言知識目標
(1) 詞匯:

(3) 掌握被動語態(tài)以及由when 引導的狀語從句和由how long/when 引導的特殊疑問句.

(1)通過談論體育明星的成就,培養(yǎng)學生吃苦耐勞的精神.
(2)在談論自己和別人的經(jīng)歷的同時,樹立遠大的理想.
4. 文化意識目標 (1)了解主要的文娛和體育活動. (2)能用恰當?shù)姆绞皆u價別人.
5. 學習策略目標
(1)認知策略:鼓勵學生向一些公眾人物學習,體會他們在取得成就的道路上表現(xiàn)出來的堅忍不拔的精神和優(yōu)秀品質.
(2)資源策略:通過網(wǎng)絡搜索,拓展知識,豐富并培養(yǎng)學生的自學能力.
(3)交際策略:通過言語交流,培養(yǎng)學生的

(4)調控策略:學生通過學習,明確”在用中學,在學中用”的理念.
[教學重難點]
根據(jù)本節(jié)課的教學內容和學生對知識的理解程度,結合教學目標,確定重點是:
When was he/she born? When did he/she start…? How long did he/she…?
難點為重點句型的實際運用及when引導的狀語從句和特殊疑問句.
[教學過程設計]
按照上面的教學思路,結合中學英語的教學特點,我們倡導構建式的學習,努力運用學生的主動參與,感知體驗,探究發(fā)現(xiàn),交流合作的學習方式,讓學生在語言實際運用中感受成功的喜悅,使課堂真正形成
6、”樂說””會說””能交際”的氛圍.本節(jié)課分為以下六個教學環(huán)節(jié)。
Step 1 Warming-up and revision (8 minutes)
1) Intercourse

Get the students to review how to describe the famous people.
T: The whole class,please. It is a guessing game. She is Chinese.She was born in 1973.

利用猜一猜這一游戲環(huán)節(jié),使學生在輕松的交流中復習句型:Who’s that? That is.. When was she born? 為教學新課做好鋪墊,通過多媒體呈現(xiàn)人物進行操練,形象生動,激發(fā)學生興趣。
Step 2 Presentation (8 min

B:She started playing ping-pong in 1978.

此環(huán)節(jié)也通過多媒體的輔助,呈現(xiàn)給學生更多的語言練習素材,突出本節(jié)課的教學目標,并設定一個情景進行對話,使學生融于真實的交際環(huán)境中,給學生利用目標語言表達交流的機會,在學中用,在用中學。

S: The man is Charles Smith and the woman is Donna Green.

作業(yè)是課堂的鞏固與延伸,課堂所涉及的東西是有限的,學生課后可以做適當?shù)耐卣?。學生通過查閱資料對優(yōu)秀人物有所了解,同時增長他們的課后知識,使所學知識不斷地延伸。
案例反思
本節(jié)課在多媒體的輔助下,直觀生動地呈現(xiàn)給學生學習語言需要的材料,為學生搭建了一個很好的語言練習平臺。在導入環(huán)節(jié)中,通過猜一猜,營造了輕松愉快的氛圍,學生積極參與,作為教學前奏,為后面的學習作了很好的鋪墊。我們不難看出,在課堂教學中,如果教師設計了一個輕松愉快的接近生活的語言環(huán)境,創(chuàng)造一個學生沒有心理壓力,比受任何約束,又能表現(xiàn)自我的課堂氛圍,這就自然地使他們放松,激起他們開口說英語的欲望。因此,有目的,有樂趣的課堂活動不失為一種鼓勵學生大膽說英語的好方法。施之以教,貴在引導”。教師通過自己的主導作用發(fā)揮學生的主體作用通過豐富多彩的任務情境調動學生的學習積極性,主動地投入學習。
