Mature 成熟的 前面通??杉樱篵ee, get, grow, 表示“變得成熟〞 8. fortable 舒適的 fort 舒適 (n.) 搭配:in fort e.g. This is a place in which the westerners feel fortable.. 這是一個(gè)西方人感覺舒適自由的地方。 9. widen 使變寬,擴(kuò)大 e.g.The gap between rich and poor has co

10、pus, we should take part in more activities to enrich our life. 在大學(xué)校園里,我們應(yīng)該通過多參與課外活動(dòng)來豐富我們的生活。 4. look after=take care of 照顧,照看 Our parents keep looking after us all their life. 我們的父母一輩子都在照看著我們。 5. depend on 依賴 Depending on others will never make us mature. 依賴他人永遠(yuǎn)都不能成熟。 同義詞:depend upon

11、 6. adapt oneself to…使*人適應(yīng)于 One should adapt himself to the change conditions. 我們應(yīng)當(dāng)使自己適應(yīng)于變化了的情況。 7. drive somebody to do 驅(qū)使*人做*事 Teachers would drive the students to study if they don’t work hard. 8. more often than not 往往,常常 More often than not, these processes start with a simple question:
