Now read them by yourselves. 【設計思路】課前出示What to learn和How to learn的學習目標,讓學生預先明確本課要達到的要求,及時反思和調控自己的學習過程。2. 師生互致問候T: In this class, Ill check your pre-class work. Are you ready? T: Lets begin our class. Class begins!【設計思路】師生問候,自然交流,融洽師生關系,為之后的教學營造和諧氛圍。3. 復習T: Last class, we talked about Mikes family. They have some changes in four aspects. What are they? T: We talked about their changes of ability, communication, reading and shopping.T: What are their then and now? First lets play a game Yeah & No. If it is right, say yeah and repeat the sentence. If its not right, say no and correct it. 【設計思路】通過游戲復習課文內容,活躍課堂氣氛。T: You know their changes very well. Lets try to retell the story according to the table. Work in groups. 【設計思路】通過小組復述整體復習課文,為后面的學習做鋪墊。 Step 2: Grammar time1. 朗讀句子,總結一般過去時態(tài)句子結構T: Mikes family have a lot of differences between then and now. And today, well go on learning Unit 4 Then and now. Look, here are some sentences from the story. What can you find in these sentences? Read them in your groups and try to find something.【設計思路】從課文中選取部分句子,引導學生通過朗讀、觀察、討論、分析、歸納一般過去時態(tài)句子結構,避免教師滿堂灌,培養(yǎng)學生自主學習的能力。2. 教授、鞏固一般過去時態(tài)動詞的不規(guī)則變化T: Do you know more irregular verbs? T: Lets read together. T: Now, lets have a check. Quick respond. When you see do, you say did. But when you see a bomb, please do like this and say bomb. 【設計思路】游戲的方式復習一般過去時態(tài)動詞的不規(guī)則變化,使得枯燥的語法知識變得生動。Step 3: Fun time1.運用一般過去時態(tài)談論自己的過去T: I think you know the irregular verbs very well. And Im sure you are much clear about the simple past tense. Can you use the simple past tense to talk about yourself in the past? Such as, thirty years ago, I was a student. How about now? Now, you are or now you can 【設計思路】運用一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)談論自己的現(xiàn)在,為下面一般過去時態(tài)、一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)的對比做鋪墊。3. 對比一般過去時態(tài)和一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)T: Wow, youve grown up, and you can do many things. Boys and girls, in our book, there is a part about our then and now. I know youve stuck your photos. And do you want to know this boys then and now? Now read by yourselves. T: What could Tony do five years ago? Now, he is eight years old. What can he do? He has changed a lot. Look, when we talk about the things in the past, we often use the simple past tense. When we talk about the things now, we often use the present tense. 【設計思路】通過閱讀書本上Tony的過去和現(xiàn)在,對比一般過去時態(tài)和一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài),為學生的表達提供幫助。4. 談論自己的過去和現(xiàn)在T: Now its your turn. Dear Mum & Dad I want to thank my teacher. She taught me how to be a teacher. Dear Ms Zhen .And the last card is for you. Let me read it.
