A. Make posters and slogans catchy and helpful.B. Build your network and remind them to vote.C. Be confident in yourself all the time.D. Give a great speech with full preparations.E. You can win as long as you try your best.F. Determine your issues and keep your promises.Convincing people to vote for you is probably the scariest part of an election. The best strategy is to show your fellow students that you will do a good job. How do you do this?1. _Think about why you want to run and what you want to do if you win. These are your issues. Then let people know what you will do if elected. When you do this, be careful not to make promises you cant keep. Make sure your issues affect all students. If you promise to try to get the whole school painted your favorite color, students probably wont vote for you. But, if you promise to get rid of that yucky(令人反感的)lunch menu item that no one likes, or raise money for more computers in the library, students will see that you are interested in things they care about, and theyll vote for you.2. _Keep it short, simple, and interesting, and students will remember you. Start by writing down your issues and the reasons you think youre a good person for the job. This is the heart of the speech and will convince other students to vote for you. Start with a story to get people listening and then move on to your issues. Practice your speech so you get used to it, and you wont be as nervous. Ask your parents or friends to listen a couple of times before the big day. When the time comes to give your speech, relax. Youll be ready and the other students will notice.3. _One of the best ways to get people to vote for you is to talk to them about it. Ask your friends to help. In many elections, people dont vote at all. If you take the time to talk to them, and remind them to vote, youll increase your chances of winning. Remind them why youre running, and why they should vote for you. Theyll appreciate that you take the time to talk to them in person. And theyll probably remember your name on the ballot(選票)!4. _When you make your campaign posters, use a catchy slogan that helps other students remember your name. It can help you win votes. If you have trouble coming up with a catchy slogan, try searching the Internet. Dont depend solely on posters. Your fellow students have to know why youre running, and thats why your speech and networking are so important.5. _If you keep these things in mind, you can win your election. Just remember that you have to be prepared to work hard to help your fellow students improve your school. If you dont win, remember there are always other ways to get involved and make a difference. If students see that you get things done, you could easily win the next time.【文章大意】你知道怎樣讓投票者為你投票嗎? 1. 【解析】選F。根據(jù)本段中“Make sure your issues affect all students. ”和“If you promise to. . . ”可知, 本段大意是“決定你的選題和信守你的承諾”。2. 【解析】選D。通讀本段可知其大意是“要提前做好充分準(zhǔn)備”。3. 【解析】選B。本段大意是“組建你自己的關(guān)系網(wǎng), 使他們?yōu)槟阃镀薄薄?. 【解析】選A。根據(jù)本段首句中的catchy可知本段大意是“使你的標(biāo)語吸引眼球”。5. 【解析】選E。由本段首句可知本段大意是“只要你做到以上這幾點(diǎn), 你一定會取得成功”。根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容, 從下框的AF選項中選出能概括每一段主題的最佳選項。選項中有一項為多余項。A. Dont care about what others saidLuckily most bad moods and even mild depression attacks can be dealt with if people knew the right action to take. Most people deal with bad moods incorrectly by either escaping from them or by acting as if they are not there. In this post I will tell you how to respond to the signal and end these bad moods.1. _Taking serious action is one of the most powerful ways for ending bad moods and depression. Most people lie in bed when they feel bad without being aware of the fact that this is the time where they need to take action the most. When you take action, you actually tell your brain that you are responding to the signal that it sent you and thats why the bad mood eases.2. _If at any moment of your life you were worried about your future or sad because of your past, then you will never be able to experience real happiness. Conscious living is the ability to enjoy your present moment without letting your mind wander in the past or the future. People who live in the present moment are less vulnerable(易受傷的)to bad moods and depression attacks.3. _Sometimes your mind needs nothing more than reassurance in order to remove the bad mood. In such a case writing a plan might be the perfect solution to bad mood. When you write a plan you are actually telling your subconscious mind indirectly that you are going to solve the problems that are bothering you and as a result it withdraws the bad mood.4. _Sometimes people get bad mood because they dont understand themselves well. When you get to understand yourself more, you will realize what makes you happy and what makes you sad. Many people are unhappy just because they dont quite understand what can make them happy and whats important for them in life.5. _Many people mistakenly believe that bad moods should disappear overnight if they did the right thing but thats completely wrong. Even if you started solving the main problem that caused your bad mood still your mood wont change instantly but instead it will happen gradually as the time passes. Its extremely important to be patient while trying to end your bad moods, or you will give up before a significant change happens and your mood will remain the same.【文章大意】本文就如何消除不良情緒提出了幾點(diǎn)建議。1. 【解析】選C。根據(jù)該段首句“Taking serious action is one of the most powerful ways for ending bad moods and depression. . . ”可知本段講的是首先應(yīng)該采取行動, 故C項正確。2. 【解析】選B。根據(jù)該段第二句“Conscious living is the ability to enjoy your present moment without letting your mind wander in the past or the future. ”可知, 本段告訴我們活在當(dāng)下, 故B項正確。3. 【解析】選A。根據(jù)本段第二句“In such a case writing a plan might be the perfect solution to bad mood. ”可知A項正確。4. 【解析】選E。根據(jù)本段首句“Sometimes people get bad mood because they dont understand themselves well. ”可知, 本段告訴我們, 要好好地了解自己, 故E項正確。5. 【解析】選D。根據(jù)本段首句“Many people mistakenly believe that bad moods should disappear overnight if they did the right thing but thats completely wrong. ”可知壞的情緒不會一夜間就消失, 需要我們耐心地等待, 故D項正確。
