We want to have much delicious food with your friends. Lets go into the world of delicious food. Step 2 Presentation (1)Show many pictures. In the pictures, there are much nice food. Let the students watch the food carefully. At the same time, show many cartoon pictures on food that the students have learned. (用一整頁(yè)呈現(xiàn)出所有食物的卡通動(dòng)畫圖片,都是他們剛才所列舉出的能用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)的食物的單詞,復(fù)習(xí)一下這些學(xué)過(guò)的表示食物的詞匯。) Step 3 Listen, read and learn (1) Ask a question: But one of your friends in your group is from England. One is from the USA. The other one is from China. What do they want to eat? How can you do it? ( 課前學(xué)生就分好組, 前后四人為一小組,進(jìn)行小組合作交流,要求學(xué)生把討論的結(jié)果,也就是把想吃的東西列成菜單。) Ask them to list a food menu. Some food must be Chinese food. Some must be western-style food. So the students decide to go to a KFC or the Mc Donalds and go to a Chinese restaurant to have Chinese food. (結(jié)果肯定是有的想吃中餐,有的想吃西餐。然后讓他們想想去了餐廳或買食物又該如何說(shuō)呢?可以先讓學(xué)生隨便說(shuō)說(shuō),對(duì)不對(duì)暫不加評(píng)論。) But the students dont know how to express themselves when they do it. Maybe some of them know. The teacher can ask them to say something about it first. (學(xué)生在看了這么多美食之后,肯定想吃,卻又不只如何表達(dá)。那就只能先聽聽別人是怎么說(shuō)的。) Step 4Presentation and practice Then the teacher adds some pictures. For example, hamburger, potato chips, ice cream, a cup of coffee,noodles They dont know how to say them in English.(然后不斷出現(xiàn)一些食物,如漢堡,冰淇淋,幾杯飲料等,這些單詞學(xué)生都還沒(méi)學(xué)過(guò)。) According to the pictures, teach them the new words and some expressions. eg, hamburger, ice cream, potato chips, coffee, coke, a cup of tea, two glasses of milk and so on.(讓學(xué)生邊看圖,邊學(xué)單詞和一些表達(dá)法,這樣他們學(xué)單詞就不感到枯燥了,覺(jué)得是一種需要。) Step 5 A short play (1) Go on their dinner in the KFC and make dialogues with the new words and expressions. Furthermore, the teacher asks the students to make up a short play. The topic is “Lets go to the Mc Donalds (or KFC).” or “Lets go to have Chinese food.” (最后學(xué)生把前面所練習(xí)的對(duì)話進(jìn)行整理,使其系統(tǒng)化,成為一個(gè)完整的情景。在此過(guò)程中,要求學(xué)生能充分運(yùn)用想象力,把身邊的東西用作道具,自己畫一些食物的圖片,并想象每個(gè)角色的動(dòng)作和語(yǔ)音、音調(diào)。如,學(xué)生可以飾顧客、服務(wù)員、主人或朋友。同時(shí)用電腦呈現(xiàn)一系列麥當(dāng)勞、肯德基和中國(guó)菜的圖片,為學(xué)生提供一個(gè)較真實(shí)的情景。2) Act out their plays. Chosoe four plays from 16 groups. Step 6 Consolidation (1)The other students are judges. At last, choose the best one. (從每大組中推選出一組進(jìn)行表演,其他學(xué)生做評(píng)委,舉手表決選出最好的一組,進(jìn)行表?yè)P(yáng)和給予小小的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。老師最后對(duì)他們的表現(xiàn)作簡(jiǎn)單的點(diǎn)評(píng)。)(2)Ask the students a question:Do you like Chinese food or KFC? Tell them that Chinese food is a kind of Chinese culture. We must love our culture and love our motherland. The KFC or western-style food represents the live of people in Western country, who leads a live with a quick rhythm. Step 8 Exercises Then do some exercises.
