1. Review the adverbi
6、al clause with till, not…until, as, unless, so that.
T: not until, as soon as所引導(dǎo)的都是時(shí)間狀語從句，
if，unless所引導(dǎo)的都是條件狀語從句。
時(shí)態(tài)要注意“主將從現(xiàn)”，即主句用將來時(shí)，從句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。
He will not go to bed until his mothercomes back.
He will tell her about it as soon as he sees her.
I will not go to Shanghai if it rains tomorrow.

unless是從屬連詞，引導(dǎo)條件狀語從句，含有否定意義，相當(dāng)于if條件狀語從句的否定形式。所以unless = if not。注意：unless引導(dǎo)的條件狀語從句和if條件狀語從句，與其它時(shí)間狀語從句一樣，用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)代替將來時(shí)。
1. Unless you take more care, you’ll have an accident.
(如果不多加小心的話，你會出事故的。)

(我那剛出生的妹妹除非餓了，否則她是從來不哭的。)
3. Unless bad weather stops me, I jog every day.

注意 if...not=unless! 會一直考在改句中
so that 是‘為了’的意思。1.可用于句中，句首，句尾，比in order that正式些。2.because回答的是前半部分，而so that是后半部分;Why did i put a sweater？Because i am cold. Why am i going to le
9、ave early？So that i don't get stuck in traffic.
till / until在表達(dá)方式和意義上的特殊性：until是till的強(qiáng)調(diào)形式，但是它們表達(dá)的意義是相同的，都表示"直到某時(shí)"。不過，當(dāng)主句是否定句時(shí)，它引出的意思是"直到（某時(shí)）（某動作）才（發(fā)生）" ，這時(shí)候常會出現(xiàn)"not until …"的結(jié)構(gòu)，如果將 "not until …"的結(jié)構(gòu)放在句首，那么主句要寫成倒裝句。例如：
He didn't go to sleep until 12 last night .
他昨晚直到十二點(diǎn)鐘才睡覺。
They didn't realize

直到我們向他們指出了他們的錯(cuò)誤，他們才意識到。
Not until we pointed out their fault to them did they realize it .

12、"，動詞必須是延續(xù)性的。否定形式表達(dá)的意思是"直至某時(shí)才做某事"。動詞為延續(xù)性或非延續(xù)性都可 以。 正確使用這兩個(gè)連詞的關(guān)鍵之一就在于判斷句中的動詞該用肯定式還是否定式。
肯定句：
I slept until midnight. 我一直睡到半夜時(shí)醒了。
Wait till I call you. 等著我叫你。
（在肯定句中可用before代替 Let's get in the wheat before the sun sets.）
否定句：
She didn't arrive until 6 o'clock.
她直到6點(diǎn)才到。

1)Until可用于句首，而till通常不用于句首。
Until youtold me, I had heard nothing of what happened.

2)Until when 疑問句中，until要放在句首。
