Hold up vocabulary cards (chicken, cow, duck, pig), ask the students the name of each animal in Chinese. Then discuss these animals.

(1)出示單詞卡片duck, pig,復習
(2)出示農場課件,讓學生觀察都有什么?
3. 新授
(1)教學單詞:cow,chicken,farm, Field,mud ,pond。
讓學生用英語說說圖上的動物,把不會說的記下來。
學習單詞chicken cow farm Field,mud ,pond。
教師板書單詞,學生聽錄音自學。教師示范、訂正。
(2)學習短語:On? the? farm
教師講解on就是在什么什么的上面。短語練習。
4. 練習
(1)帶頭飾表演,說說你是什么小動物,喜歡吃什么?(用英語說)
(2)用句型練習:What? is? it?It is----。Or? This? is ---。That? is ---。
(3)小組互相練習。
四、閱讀故事《Never ride a pig in the mud》
1. 看,看故事中有誰?(用英語說)
2. 聽,教師播放錄音,邊看邊停,讓學生猜猜下面會發(fā)生什么事。
3. 完整的聽故事。
4. 討論,小組互相說說故事大意。
五、創(chuàng)意畫
讓學生畫一副農場圖,并把小動物、各種地方用英語標出來。
