一、案例背景
1.學(xué)生分析
本節(jié)課的授課對(duì)象是小學(xué)四年級(jí)學(xué)生。他們已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)了本單元的第一課時(shí),掌握了部分動(dòng)物單詞如 horse, lamb, cow 等,已經(jīng)掌握了句型 What are they? They are... 而且已經(jīng)熟悉了一些名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式。這些都為本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí)打下了基礎(chǔ)。
2.教學(xué)內(nèi)容
1) 詞匯:donkey, hundred
2) 句型; Are they...? Yes, they are. No, they aren't.
3) 對(duì)話;Oh, this farm is

教師板書 hundred 并教學(xué) one hundred, 拓展教學(xué) two hundreds, three hundreds, etc.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師先詢問學(xué)生熟悉的學(xué)習(xí)用品的價(jià)格,再讓學(xué)生猜教師所穿服裝的價(jià)格來引出新單詞hundred,拉近了生活與課堂教學(xué)之間的距離。從舊知到新知,過渡自然,學(xué)生樂于接受, 并且學(xué)生能在輕松的 Free talk 中不知不覺地提高聽說能力。

4.Let's do 結(jié)束后,教師及時(shí)表揚(yáng)及介紹本節(jié)課的評(píng)價(jià)方式:學(xué)生分成兩大組,各自擁有一個(gè)農(nóng)場(chǎng)。每位學(xué)生的積極參與和認(rèn)真都能為本組贏得動(dòng)物。通過合作與競(jìng)爭(zhēng),得到動(dòng)物圖片多的小組獲勝。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:這節(jié)課的評(píng)價(jià)方式緊緊圍繞著課文內(nèi)容:自己擁有一個(gè)農(nóng)場(chǎng),并通過努力可以贏取動(dòng)物為自己所有。形式新穎,并且能很好地發(fā)揮學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的主動(dòng)性。小組比賽既能充分激發(fā)學(xué)生的積極性,又能引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)與人合作。
Step 2 Presentation
1. 教師利用圖片快速復(fù)習(xí)單詞 cow, horse, sheep, lamb, goat, hen. 并在復(fù)習(xí) hen 時(shí),熟悉單詞 fat。教師把圖片貼在黑板上:
T: What's this? Ss: It's a

T: Wow, this hen is so fat. (事先把 hen 畫的很胖) 教師板書 fat 并教學(xué) fat。It's fat.
2. 利用圖片,教學(xué)新詞匯:donkey
T: Is it a horse? Ss: No. T: It's a donkey. 教師帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生用升、降調(diào)朗讀單詞。
3. 利用圖片,快速復(fù)習(xí)句型:What are they? They are... 并在復(fù)習(xí) hens 中引出新授對(duì)話中的句子:They are fat.
T:Look, what are they?
10、Ss:They are donkeys.
T: What are they? Ss: They are hens.
T: Yes. And they are fat. 板書 They are fat. 并教學(xué)此句。
教師分單數(shù)和復(fù)數(shù)兩列板書所有動(dòng)物單詞,通過對(duì)比的方式讓學(xué)生明白名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)區(qū)別,并讓學(xué)生感知名詞復(fù)數(shù)的讀音。
4. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)回答:Yes, they are./No, they aren't.
教師事先把動(dòng)物圖片反貼在黑板上,學(xué)生看到圖片背面。
T: Look, are they hens? Ss: No, they aren't. ( with T's help)

板書并教學(xué)句子:No, they aren't.
教師以同樣的方式教學(xué): Yes, they are.
5.利用圖片,教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生猜:Are they...? 師答: Yes, they are./No, they aren't.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:在舊知中引出和操練新知,學(xué)生一點(diǎn)都不覺得累,反而有更濃厚的興趣。通過名詞單、復(fù)數(shù)的對(duì)比和總結(jié),讓學(xué)生感知名詞單、復(fù)數(shù)的不同表達(dá)方法,進(jìn)一步強(qiáng)化新單詞的讀音。學(xué)生看到圖片的背面并沒有圖案,這產(chǎn)

學(xué)生看著黑板上的板書及圖片,吟誦如下歌謠:

Yes, yes. Yes, they are.
Horses, horse, are they horses?
No, no. No, they aren't.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生把新學(xué)的單詞、難讀的單詞以及新學(xué)的句型用到歌謠中,不僅能達(dá)到正音、弱化難點(diǎn)的目的,還可以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生朗讀的節(jié)奏感和韻律感,吸引學(xué)生的注意力,增添操練的趣味性。

教師出示一串游戲紙的反面,學(xué)生猜正面是什么動(dòng)物。(結(jié)合小組比賽) 在猜的活動(dòng)中操練句型:Are they...? 并利用學(xué)生以前學(xué)過的單詞,進(jìn)行滾動(dòng)復(fù)習(xí)。教師作適當(dāng)提示。
T:They are fruits. They are red and round.
Ss: Are they apples? T: No, they aren't.
Ss: Are they tomatoes? T: Yes, they are.
T: They are a kind of shoes. We can wear them in summer.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:結(jié)合舊知操練新句型,讓學(xué)生猜動(dòng)物、水果、服裝等,能滾動(dòng)復(fù)習(xí)舊知,以舊練新,能提高學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)效率,而且能發(fā)散學(xué)生的思維。在猜的活動(dòng)中,教師給予適當(dāng)?shù)恼Z言和肢體提示,不僅能降低學(xué)生猜的難度,而且能增大語言的輸入量。
Step 5 Let's talk
1. 教師從上面的猜一猜活動(dòng)引到對(duì)話。T:
15、 Yes, they are cow. We can see cows at a farm. 教師出示事先準(zhǔn)備好的一幅大農(nóng)場(chǎng)圖片 T:Wow, this farm is so big. 邊說邊用動(dòng)作表示出農(nóng)場(chǎng)的大。然后領(lǐng)讀句子:This farm is so big. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生邊說邊做動(dòng)作。
2. 讓學(xué)生聽一遍錄音,并思考以下問題:Can we see the cows here? How many cows? Let's listen.
T: How many cows? Ss: One hundred.
3.再聽一遍錄音,學(xué)生思考問題:What animals are there

T: What animals are there at the farm? Ss: There are goats and donkeys.
讓學(xué)生找出動(dòng)物圖片貼在大農(nóng)場(chǎng)的圖片上。
4. 教師讓學(xué)生跟錄音朗讀對(duì)話,然后分組朗讀。結(jié)合小組比賽,教師進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià),獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)動(dòng)物圖片。
5.將對(duì)話分成三段,教師和三位學(xué)生分別進(jìn)行練習(xí)做示范。然后學(xué)生看著黑板上的農(nóng)場(chǎng)圖片,兩人合作練習(xí)對(duì)話。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生帶著問題聽錄音,能提高學(xué)生聽錄音的效率。找圖片,貼圖片,更能調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的各種感官參與學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng),加深對(duì)對(duì)話的理解程度。跟錄音朗讀有助于學(xué)生模仿地道的語音、語調(diào),也能為學(xué)生說好

Step 6 Extension
教師出示樹,花,小鳥等圖片,讓學(xué)生利用句型Are they…?編一個(gè)新的對(duì)話。教師和一位學(xué)生先做示范,然后學(xué)生兩人合作練習(xí),最后抽幾組進(jìn)行表演。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生自主選擇以前學(xué)過的單詞創(chuàng)編對(duì)話,體現(xiàn)了教學(xué)的開放性。并且給學(xué)生提供了一個(gè)運(yùn)用語言的機(jī)會(huì)。因?yàn)榕囵B(yǎng)學(xué)生初步運(yùn)用語言的能力是小學(xué)英語的教學(xué)目的之一。

T: Now, let's see how many animals do you have? 師生共數(shù),獲得動(dòng)物多的小組獲勝。然后師生共同鼓掌表揚(yáng)獲勝小組。
3. 課后布置作業(yè):畫下你心目中的農(nóng)場(chǎng),模仿課文編對(duì)話,可以個(gè)人完成,也可以 2-3 人合作完成。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:結(jié)束課堂之前,教師從學(xué)生參與課堂活動(dòng)的態(tài)度、興趣、成果及合作能力等方面對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行恰當(dāng)?shù)脑u(píng)價(jià),十分有益于學(xué)生樹立自信心,形成繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)的動(dòng)力。
