Period? 3 第三課時
教材分析：
本課時的核心話題是談論人的外貌形象，教材內容圍繞著描述人的外貌特征展開，讓學生學會談論人的身高、體重、發(fā)型、面部特征及著裝特點。通過對本課時的學習，學生能掌握描述人物外表的詞匯及句型，以人的外貌特征為主線，兼顧交際功能的學習，引導學生談論自己或他人的外表長相。本課時的教學內容與學生的實際生活密切相關，易于引發(fā)學生運用簡單的英語進行交際和交流。在學習活動中，學生能通過交換對不同人物的描述及看法，促進學生之間和教師之間的情感交流，增進情誼。
教學目標：

通過對本課時的學習，學生能掌握描述人物外表的形容詞、短語及句型。能熟練地用英語進行對人外表特點的描述，并根據描述畫出人像。能替自己和別人進行新形象設計，能和合作伙伴互相交流信息。并能結合實際生活，靈活運用所學詞匯及句型，提高寫作水平。

通過學習課文及課堂操練增進同學之間的了解和友誼，啟發(fā)學生不要以貌取人。學會贊美別人，友好地描述別人的形象；學會賞識，懂得心靈美比外表美更重要。

1.Show students some pictures to review those words in Section A 1a.Then teach the new words in Section B 1a.
2.Then match each word with one of the pictures and check the answers.
Step 2. Presentation

1.Point at the incomplete sentences and read the completed sample sentence to the class.
2.Have students write the name of a famous person in each blank. e.g. Han Hong wears glasses. Then ask some students to read the sentences they completed. And have other students say whether
