1、過去進(jìn)行時 一、定義過去進(jìn)行時表示在過去某一時刻或某一段時間內(nèi)進(jìn)行或發(fā)生的動作，不一定已完成。其形式為was /were + V-ing。 二、過去進(jìn)行時的用法1.表示過去某一時間（正在）進(jìn)行的動作。 I was watching TV at 7 last night.I was sleeping when it started to rain.*2.表示過去某一階段正在進(jìn)行的或暫時性的動作。At that time,I was working in Sydney.3.表示一動作正在進(jìn)行時，另一動作同時突然發(fā)生。(1)用while連接（while只接doing,用延續(xù)性動詞）(2）when表示
2、（when可以接doing或did，動詞可以是延續(xù)性的也可是短暫性的，when后動作時間長，用doing，時間短，用did） I was watching TV when someone knocked at the door. He _(clean) the yard when his son came home.They _(play) very hard at this time of last year. 四、與一般過去時的對比都強(qiáng)調(diào)過去發(fā)生的事但用一般過去時，只是表示有過這件事（已做完）；用過去進(jìn)行時，則強(qiáng)調(diào)了動作的連續(xù)性（未必已完成）。 e.g. I was reading a book that evening.那天晚上我一直在讀書。（未讀完）I read a book tha
