一、 教學(xué)內(nèi)容
本課是《新標準英語》三起點第七冊Module 4 Unit 1 Happy Thanksgiving.閱讀教學(xué)在小學(xué)階段的主要目的是:激發(fā)學(xué)生的閱讀興趣,讓學(xué)生能讀懂簡單的文章,培養(yǎng)良好的閱讀習(xí)慣,為以后成為有獨立閱讀能力的人打好基礎(chǔ)。所以結(jié)合 本節(jié)課和學(xué)生的特點,我將本節(jié)課是確定為一節(jié)閱讀課,主要是通過Simon與Daming 的交談,讓學(xué)生對西方的兩個節(jié)日:Flag Day國旗日 和Thanksgiving感恩節(jié)知道并了解。并且能用What do you do o
2、n Flag Day/Thanksgiving .......? Can you tell me more about ........?We carry flags and we sing songs. We have a big family meal . We say “thank-you”for our food , family and friends.進行交流。同時激發(fā)學(xué)生對西方節(jié)日西方文化了解的興趣。本課是以中國孩子Daming向美國孩子詢問美國節(jié)日而引發(fā)的談話。Simon向Daming介紹美國的兩個節(jié)日Flag Day和Thanksgiving,對話中涉及到兩個節(jié)日的風(fēng)俗和人們
3、的主要慶?;顒?,是一篇和文化相關(guān)的課文。
二、 目標定位
教學(xué)目標:【認知目標】 1,能聽說讀寫本節(jié)課的重點單詞和句型,讀懂課文。
【能力目標】 1, 能用本節(jié)課所學(xué)的重點單詞短語句型來簡單描述Flag Day 和Thanksgiving 。
【情感目標】 1,學(xué)生們通過談?wù)摴?jié)日,增強自己的口語表達能力、并通過了解外國節(jié)日,加強對中國節(jié)日的認識,從而比較中西方文化的差異,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的跨文化意識。
2, 讓學(xué)生在節(jié)日中體會到家人的愛,教會學(xué)生學(xué)會感恩。
三、 教學(xué)流程
Step 1 導(dǎo)入
T:Clap hands and sing ‘Jingle Bells’ (出示單

S:Christmas Day.
Step 2 講授
1,整體略讀,捕捉信息。
T:Is Christmas a Chinese festival?
S:No. It’s an American festival.
T: Good job!It’s very important in America. I think our friend Simon will tell us one more about American festival with some pictures.
5、Let’s watch carefully and chose what festival is it?
T:Yes, It’s Flag Day.
Do you know Flag Day? When is it? It’s on July 14th.
What do people do on Flag Day? You can get the answer from the dialogue and the picture on the book.
