What’s your favorite subject?你最喜歡的學(xué)科是什么?(教材第49頁) (1) What’s your favorite...?意為“你最喜歡的……是什么?”,是英語中用來詢問對方喜歡的事物的常用句型。 —What’s your favorite color?你最喜歡的顏色是什么? —White.白色。 (2) favorite(like...best) 此處用作形容詞,意為“特別喜愛的”,通常用作定語修飾名詞,其前常用形容詞性物主代詞或名詞所有格修飾。 Tom’s favorite subject is English.=Tom likes English best.湯姆最喜歡的科目是英語。 2. P.E.體育 P.E.作名詞,是physical education的縮寫形式。 【拓展】學(xué)科名詞作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。 P.E. is very interesting.體育非常有趣。 3. —Why do you like P.E.?你為什么喜歡體育? —Because it’s fun.因為它很有意思。(教材第50頁) (1) why是疑問副詞,意為“為什么”,詢問原因。常用來引導(dǎo)特殊疑問句,其答語常用 “Because+句子.”。 —Why does he like baseball?他為什么喜歡棒球? —Because it’s fun.因為它很有意思。 (2)because作連詞,意為“因為”,其后跟句子,陳述原因或理由,常用于回答why引導(dǎo) 的疑問句。 —Why is he not here?他為什么不在? —Because he is ill.因為他生病了。 【注意】在漢語中“因為……所以……”常會同時出現(xiàn)在一個句子中。在英語中,because 和so不能同時出現(xiàn)在一個句子中,兩者只能用其一。 Because geography is interesting,I like it.=Geography is interesting,so I like it.因為地理很有趣, 所以我喜歡它。 4.That’s for sure.的確如此。(教材第50頁) That’s for sure.表示完全贊同他人的觀點,相當(dāng)于漢語中的“那是肯定的;確實是這樣的”。 —Swimming is good for us.游泳對我們有好處。 —That’s for sure.的確如此。 Exercise 1、 用所給單詞的適當(dāng)形式填空。 1. T:Let’s make a survey.Here are some questions.Make a survey in your groups.Write down your classmate’s favorite subjects,reasons and teachers.Finally,make a report. 2.Choose a group leader to make a report. 語法拓展 特殊疑問句 特殊疑問句是對句中某一部分內(nèi)容提出疑問的問句,是指以“what,who,when,where,why,how 等”開頭的疑問句,也稱wh-疑問句。特殊疑問句與一般疑問句不一樣,它不能用yes或no 回答。 1. 構(gòu)成:疑問詞+其他句子成分?其中,疑問詞包括疑問代詞和疑問副詞兩種。 疑問代詞有:what,who,which,whose,whom 疑問副詞有:how,why,when,where (1) 倒裝句結(jié)構(gòu):疑問詞+一般疑問句?此時,疑問詞及其所修飾的部分不作主語,即作賓語、 定語、表語、狀語等。 What do you like for lunch?你午餐喜歡吃什么?(作賓語) (2)陳述句結(jié)構(gòu):疑問句+謂語動詞+賓語/表語/狀語?此時,疑問詞及其所修飾的部分作 主語。 Who teaches you math?誰教你們數(shù)學(xué)?(作主語) Whose shoes are on the chair?誰的鞋放在椅子上?(與名詞一起作主語) 2. 疑問詞小結(jié): (1) 針對事物的名詞提出疑問,疑問詞用what。 What’s your favorite subject?你最喜歡的科目是什么? (2) 對指人的名詞或代詞提問用who。 Who’s he?他是誰? (3) 對具體時間提出疑問,用when。 When do you play basketball?你什么時候打籃球? (4) 對地點提出疑問,用where。 Where’s my pen?我的鋼筆在哪兒? (5) 對原因提出疑問,用why。 Why do you like art?你為什么喜歡美術(shù)?
