Period 3 第三課時(shí)教材分析:本課時(shí)的核心話題是談?wù)撊说耐饷残蜗螅滩膬?nèi)容圍繞著描述人的外貌特征展開(kāi),讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)談?wù)撊说纳砀?、體重、發(fā)型、面部特征及著裝特點(diǎn)。通過(guò)對(duì)本課時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能掌握描述人物外表的詞匯及句型,以人的外貌特征為主線,兼顧交際功能的學(xué)習(xí),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生談?wù)撟约夯蛩说耐獗黹L(zhǎng)相。本課時(shí)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容與學(xué)生的實(shí)際生活密切相關(guān),易于引發(fā)學(xué)生運(yùn)用簡(jiǎn)單的英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交際和交流。在學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)中,學(xué)生能通過(guò)交換對(duì)不同人物的描述及看法,促進(jìn)學(xué)生之間和教師之間的情感交流,增進(jìn)情誼。教學(xué)目標(biāo):1知識(shí)與技能通過(guò)對(duì)本課時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí),

5、ike?/What does he look like?時(shí),可以有兩種回答方式,一種為Im /Hes注意:be動(dòng)詞后跟著形容詞/表示身高(medium height);另一種為I have/He has注意:后跟著(形容詞)+名詞例如:你長(zhǎng)得怎么樣?我長(zhǎng)的很瘦,我是中等身材。 What do you look like?Im thin.Im medium height.她長(zhǎng)得什么樣?她有一頭短短的黑發(fā)。What does she look like?She has short black hair.(2) 熟練掌握描述人物外貌的方法并畫(huà)圖。教學(xué)關(guān)鍵:如何運(yùn)用所學(xué)的有關(guān)詞匯、短語(yǔ)及句型,描述人的
6、外貌特征,并能結(jié)合實(shí)際生活進(jìn)行靈活運(yùn)用。教具、學(xué)具準(zhǔn)備:幻燈片、錄音機(jī)、掛圖、卡通人物、白紙等。教學(xué)手段、方法及過(guò)程:采用啟發(fā)式教學(xué),循循善誘、循序漸進(jìn)的教學(xué)方法,讓學(xué)生通過(guò)本課時(shí)的看圖說(shuō)話、句型操練、實(shí)際描述、對(duì)話表演,熟悉掌握本單元核心話題的句型。 教學(xué)步驟:Step 1. Revision and Leading-in(Section B 1a) (3 minutes)1.Show students some pictures to review those words in Section A 1a.Then teach the new words in Section B 1a.2.
7、Then match each word with one of the pictures and check the answers.Step 2. Presentation(1b) (8 minutes)1.Point at the incomplete sentences and read the completed sample sentence to the class.2.Have students write the name of a famous person in each blank. e.g. Han Hong wears glasses.
